Royal Performance Company is a great place to dance throughout the summer. Our summer program is specifically designed to offer a variety of weekly 3-day dance, technique, and Pom Pom classes for age 3-18. Must have 4 student minimum for class to be held.
June 11-13th, 5-6 pm - Age 7+
Students will learn 3 short musical theater style routines, all with a fun beach theme. Bring your beach themed props; inflatable beach balls, bucket & pale, and more.
June 11-13, 6:30-7:30 pm - Age 7+
This class will introduce Pom basics; strong arms, quick & sharp movements, and incorporating elements of jazz. A short routine will be taught. Pom Poms will be provided.
June 11-13, 6:30-7:30 pm - Age 8+
This course is designed for the student to begin learning how to interpret music with his/her movement instilling feeling, motion, and style. This style combines the fluid beauty of ballet with sharp moves in jazz.
June 11-13, 7:30-8:30 pm - Age 12+
Embark on an empowering journey with our POM class. This class will offer a dynamic dance experience that combines the energy of cheerleading with the joy of dance. Continue advancing strong arms, quick & sharp movements, while incorporating kicks, turns, and jumps. Training will be incorporated into a routine. Previous experience requested. Pom Poms will be provided.

This class will introduce novice dancers to the basic core hip hop style movements. Focus will be placed on footwork, body rocking, proper technique, basic counting, and more.
June 11-13th, 7-8 pm. Age 12+
Contemporary dance is a style of expressive dance that combines multiple elements of dance genres including jazz, lyrical, and classical ballet. This class will begin to assist dancers to connect the mind and body through fluid movements, versatility, and improvisation.
June 18-20th, 5-6 pm. Age 3-4
Joyful way for children to learn the basics of movement, stimulate imagination, and promote creativity while learning the fundamentals of ballet and tumbling.
June 18-20th, 6-7 pm. Age 5-6
Joyful way for children to learn the basics of movement, stimulate imagination, and promote creativity while learning the fundamentals of ballet and tumbling.
June 18-20th, 7-8 pm. Age 7+
Jazz is sharp and fluid movements to create a visually technical dance and style. Students will learn the basic steps of jazz dance including body isolations, stretch, turns, leaps and popular simple rhythm technique. Learn a routine to a Taylor Swift song & receive a Taylor Swift Speak bracelet at the end of the camp.
June 18-20th, 5-6 pm. Age 9+
Students will be introduced to an open style. This consists of more of an acrobatic style but also some traditional jazz moves as well. Training is at an intermediate level. Must have previous jazz and acro experience.
June 18-20th, 5-6 pm - Age 10+
Students will learn technqiue in turns and leaps. Jazz style will be the basis for the technique taught. All levels welcome, however intermediate will be the main focus.
June 18-20th, 6-7 pm - Age 5-8
This class will serve as an introduction to the Tap style of dance. Students will learn simple across the floor tap progressions, new tap steps and short combinations.
June 18-20th, 7-8 pm - Age 9+
This class will serve as an introduction to a mix of urban hip hop with the essence of tap. Students will begin to learn how to incorporate turns, slides, percussions, hard hitting tap beats into the raw element of traditional tap dancing. Must have previous tap experience.
June 25-27th, 5-6 pm. Age 9+
Designed for the student to begin learning how to interpret music with his/her movement instilling feeling, motion, and style. This style combines the fluid beauty of ballet with sharp moves in jazz. Students should have ballet education and training.
June 25-27th, 5-6 pm. Age 10+
Designed for dancers currently who have an interest in going into pointe. We will focus on ankle stability and strength, leg muscles, barre work, and simple across the floor progressions. Must have ballet experience.
June 25-27th, 5-6pm - Age 12+
Students will complete workouts designed specifically for dancers to improve their strength and endurance levels. Different workouts will be done each class. Materials will be available for those who want to continue the workouts throughout the summer.
June 25-27th, 6-7pm - Age 12+
Students will work on technique to improve ability to perform turns, leaps and jumps properly.
July 9-11th, 5-6 pm. Age 10+
Students will participate in a class that includes yoga, meditation and flexibility drills to help them increase their flexibility. Yoga mats are encouraged.
July 9-11th, 5-6 pm. Age 12+
This class provides more of the advanced skills. Students will learn more intricate and fast paced movements along with some slower groovy movements. Must have previous tap experience.
July 9-11th, 5-6 pm. Age 12+
This class will differentiate between contemporary and lyrical and how to incorporate both genres together while learning technique. Students will learn a short combo.
July 9-11th, 6-7 pm. Age 10+
Dancers will learn a fun, spunky combos to push and better themselves in jazz. Students can expect to be pushed to their highest level of technique and skills. Must have previous jazz experience.
July 9-11th, 6-7 pm. Age 12+
Ballet is the foundation for many other styles of dance. This class is designed for dancers to expand their ballet technique, terminology, strength, and flexibility. Must have previous ballet training.

This high-energy street style dance are for those that want to learn the latest hip hop trends and moves. Elements include warm-up, proper dance steps, and full bodied combinations. This class is perfect for those eager to learn hip hop.

Jazz dance combines techniques of classical ballet and modern dance with current forms of popular dance. These classes are for dancers who like precision and rhythm, physical challenges, and personal style and expression.
July 16-18th, 6-7 pm. Age 12+
Students will combine skills from Pom Pom with the precision and uniformity of Kick. Learnings will be incorporated into short combos.

Hip Hop dance requires students to have the strength and stamina to successfully perform moves. Students will learn more advanced choreography, transitions, and formations. This class will encourage dancers to step outside the box to bring their own style and personality
